Salmon Patties

This a recipe from my Momma. It is easy to put together and is a good comfort food for during the week. Nothing to thaw just canned salmon:)

Start with a large bowl, open and drain a can of salmon. Pour into bowl and remove bones. Its okay if you don’t get them all. My sister Barb never removed the bones so I guess this part is optional. Add 1 egg, dried minced onion, I just sprinkle this in but I guess about 1 tsp???. Then add 1 sleeve of butter crackers crushed. Mix well and then add about 1 tbsp of flour. Just enough so that the patties hold together.

On a plate add flour then make your patties and roll in flour to coat well.

Fry in high heat oil until browned on either side. Enjoy!

Salmon Patties

1 Can Salmon/ Drained and deboned

1 Egg

1 tsp Dried Minced Onion/ You can use fresh but I think the dried gives more flavor in this dish

1 Sleeve Butter Crackers/crushed

1 tbsp Flour plus more for coating

1 tbsp+ heat heat oil of your choice

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Add flour and mix if more is needed just enough so the patties will stick together.

On a large plate covered in flour make patties and roll in the flour to coat all sides well.

Heat oil in skillet and cook until browned on either side. Enjoy!
