Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheesy Sausage and Rice Skillet
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and let it melt.
- Once the butter is sizzling, add sliced smoked sausage to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Stir in the Rice-A-Roni (without the seasoning packets) into the skillet. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
