Method
 

Preparation Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter and then add the egg, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the mixture and stir until combined.
  4. Spread the dough into the prepared pie dish and press it into the bottom and sides. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  5. While warm, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, followed by shredded coconut. Pour sweetened condensed milk over toppings.
  6. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the condensed milk layer.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 25 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool for 15 minutes and drizzle melted chocolate on top.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
