- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- Melt the unsalted butter and then add the egg, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the mixture and stir until combined.
- Spread the dough into the prepared pie dish and press it into the bottom and sides. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- While warm, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, followed by shredded coconut. Pour sweetened condensed milk over toppings.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the condensed milk layer.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 25 minutes until bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 15 minutes and drizzle melted chocolate on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
