- Wash and dry the English cucumber thoroughly. Slice the cucumber into thin ribbons, about ⅛ inch thick.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine cottage cheese, fresh dill or chives, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Lay out cucumber ribbons slightly overlapping. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling onto one end and roll it up tightly.
- Arrange the wraps on a platter, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes before serving.
