- In a medium saucepan, add 1 cup of granulated sugar, ½ cup of water, and ½ cup of light corn syrup. Stir gently over medium heat until dissolved, about 3–5 minutes.
- Once dissolved, bring the mixture to a gentle boil and let it bubble without stirring for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
- Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature, about 10-15 minutes.
- Transfer the cooled syrup into a clean glass jar or bottle for storage.
