Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. Cook the short pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
  3. Combine the drained pasta with marinara sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese in a bowl.
  4. Pour the pasta mixture into the greased baking dish and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Place cooked meatballs on top, pressing a half olive into each meatball to create eyeballs.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Cool for 5-10 minutes, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
