Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Combine 4 cups of flour, ¼ cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a bowl. Add the yeast mixture, ½ cup of mashed ube, 1 large egg, and ¼ cup of melted butter and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Shape into a ball and place in a greased bowl; cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Prepare filling by mixing ½ cup cream cheese, ½ cup shredded cheddar, and 1 tablespoon powdered sugar in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Once risen, punch the dough down, divide it into 12 equal pieces, flatten, fill, and seal tightly.
  6. Roll each filled ball in breadcrumbs and place seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
