Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather your baking dish and ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the parmesan cheese until smooth.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce across the bottom of your baking dish.
  4. Place a layer of lasagna noodles over the marinara sauce.
  5. Evenly distribute cooked chicken over the noodles.
  6. Spread the ricotta mixture over the chicken layer.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the ricotta mixture.
  8. Continue layering: marinara sauce, lasagna noodles, chicken, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese, finishing with marinara sauce on top.
  9. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  10. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  11. Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before serving.
