Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather your baking dish and ingredients.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce across the bottom of your baking dish.
- Place a layer of lasagna noodles over the marinara sauce.
- Evenly distribute cooked chicken over the noodles.
- Spread the ricotta mixture over the chicken layer.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the ricotta mixture.
- Continue layering: marinara sauce, lasagna noodles, chicken, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese, finishing with marinara sauce on top.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
