- Begin by placing 1 cup of white chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of vegetable shortening into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each burst until fully melted and smooth—this should take approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
- Take one large marshmallow and dip the bottom into the melted chocolate, using it as glue. Attach this marshmallow to a sheet of parchment paper, then stack two more marshmallows atop it.
- Once the marshmallow stack is firm, drizzle any remaining melted chocolate over the entire marshmallow structure and then place candy eyes on top.
- Dust your marshmallows with powdered sugar and use the black edible marker to add facial features. Let the marshmallows sit until the chocolate hardens completely.
