For the Sauce
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic can substitute with garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Flour gluten-free flour can be substituted
  • 1 cup Chicken Stock vegetable stock for vegetarian version
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can lighten the dish
  • 2 tablespoons Ranch Seasoning use homemade blend or store-bought

Preparation Steps
  1. Cut the chicken breasts horizontally to create thin cutlets, about ½ inch thick, and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix together garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Season both sides of the chicken cutlets.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and butter. Sear the chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter, reduce heat to medium, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the garlic, stirring constantly, then gradually whisk in chicken stock. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream and ranch seasoning, whisk until creamy.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Plate the Creamy Ranch Chicken and serve hot with sides like mashed potatoes or rice.
