Cooking Steps
- In a deep skillet, pour in about 2 inches of vegetable oil and heat it to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer to ensure accuracy.
- In a pot, bring 1 cup of water and ½ cup of granulated sugar to a boil. Add in 1 cup of walnut halves and let them boil for about 2 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together ½ cup of mayonnaise, ¼ cup of honey, ¼ cup of condensed milk, and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat 2 egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold in ½ cup of cornstarch to create a light batter.
- Dip each large shrimp into the egg white batter and fry in small batches for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Once the shrimp are crispy, toss them gently with the creamy sauce in a large mixing bowl.
- Sprinkle the candied walnuts over the sauced shrimp and serve hot.

Notes
For best results, prepare the candied walnuts and creamy sauce in advance and refrigerate them separately.
