Dumpling Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour with enough water to form a smooth, pliable dough. Mix well until there are no lumps.
  2. Divide the dough into small, marble-sized pieces. Roll each piece into smooth balls about the size of a cherry.
  3. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Carefully drop the dumplings into the water and cook for approximately 3-5 minutes until they float.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove the dumplings and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with sweet soy sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped nuts.
  6. Enjoy warm or let cool to room temperature.
