Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. In a separate bowl, dissolve 1 packet of active dry yeast in ¾ cup of warm water for 5 minutes until foamy. Mix the yeast mixture into the flour along with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and knead for 5 minutes until smooth.

- Transfer the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

- Preheat your oven to 425°F and grease a deep dish pizza pan with olive oil.

- Roll out the risen dough into a large circle, transfer to your greased pan, pressing it into the sides and bottom. Layer with 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, cooked Italian sausage, veggies, and 1 cup of marinara sauce. Sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.

- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden-brown and cheese is bubbling.

- Remove from oven, let cool for 10 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
