  • ½ cup Butter Melted
For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Mexican Vanilla Or regular vanilla
  • ½ cup Sugar
For the Cinnamon Topping
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Sugar For topping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and fit it into a greased baking dish.
  4. Brush the bottom of the baking dish with melted butter and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Par-bake the crust for 5-6 minutes.
  6. In a mixing bowl, whisk softened cream cheese until smooth, then add condensed milk, egg, and vanilla.
  7. Pour the creamy filling over the par-baked dough.
  8. Place the second layer of crescent dough over the top and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  11. Slice into bars and serve with optional toppings.
