Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a large baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, lemon zest and juice, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. Layer half of the cubed bread, followed by half of the blueberries, and half of the custard mixture in the prepared baking dish. Repeat layers.
  4. Cover the dish tightly and refrigerate for at least one hour, preferably overnight.
  5. Uncover and bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  6. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving warm, optionally drizzled with syrup or dusted with sugar.
