Preparation Steps
- In a medium bowl, mash 1 cup of fresh raspberries until mostly broken down but still slightly chunky.
- Stir in ¼ cup of maple syrup and ¼ cup of chia seeds with the raspberries.
- Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes to allow the chia seeds to absorb moisture.
- Scoop out the mixture and place it onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, creating about 12-15 bites.
- Freeze the bites for 20 minutes until they hold their shape.
- Melt 1 cup of dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip each frozen bite into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coat, and place them back on the baking sheet.
- Return the chocolate-dipped bites to the freezer for another 10–15 minutes to harden the chocolate.
- Transfer the hardened bites to an airtight container for storage.
