Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine thawed hash browns with melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Press firmly into a greased springform pan. Freeze for about 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake the crust for approximately 40 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  3. While the crust is baking, whisk together eggs and milk in a medium bowl. Fold in crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar, and green onions. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Once the crust is pre-baked, reduce the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C). Pour the filling over the crust and bake for 35-40 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  5. Allow the quiche to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
