Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Split the English muffins and cut into 1-inch pieces, then layer evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the Canadian bacon over the layered muffins.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and optional onion powder until frothy.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the muffins and bacon, pressing down gently to soak.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld and muffins to absorb the mixture.
  7. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes covered with foil, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
  8. Prepare hollandaise sauce according to package instructions or a homemade recipe.
  9. Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Slice, serve with hollandaise sauce, and garnish with fresh herbs.
