  • 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist White Cake Mix
  • 1 packet Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix vanilla flavor
  • 2 large Eggs room temperature
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract pure vanilla preferred
  • 1 cup Regular Oreos finely chopped
For the Frosting
  • 8 ounces Full-fat Cream Cheese brick-style
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar add more for denser consistency
  • 1 pinch Salt to balance sweetness

Preparation
  1. In a stand mixer, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, softened butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix for 2-3 minutes until a thick dough forms.
  2. Gently fold in the finely chopped Oreos.
  3. Scoop the dough into 30-gram balls, space them on baking sheets, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the cookies for 9-10 minutes until puffed and lightly golden.
  5. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and softened butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and salt until a thick frosting forms.
  7. Pipe the frosting onto one cookie and place another on top. Repeat until all cookies are filled.
  8. Cover and refrigerate the assembled Whoopie Pies overnight.
