Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, unprepared Peach Jell-O, eggs, and oil. Blend until smooth.
- Chop frozen peaches into smaller pieces and gently fold into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Frosting
- In a saucepan, combine salted butter, brown sugar, and heavy cream. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring continuously.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Cool the frosting until it thickens.
- Frost the cooled cake generously with the brown sugar frosting.
