  • ½ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg use sparingly

Preparation

  2. Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, melted butter, milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour the filling into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  4. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl, then sprinkle over the filling.
  5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
