Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice your apples and mix in a large bowl with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread in the baking dish.
  3. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and salt in another bowl. Cut in the cold butter until resembling coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the topping over the apple mixture in the baking dish, covering the apples entirely.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and apples are bubbling and tender.
  6. Let the crisp rest for about 10 minutes before serving, warm or with vanilla ice cream.
