Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of rolled oats, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, a pinch of salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Stir together thoroughly.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together 1 ½ cups of milk, ¼ cup of maple syrup, 1 large egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl containing the dry ingredients, gently stirring with a spatula until just combined.
