Method
 

Brownies Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 15x10-inch jelly roll pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar, sour cream, softened unsalted butter, and eggs for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mash very ripe bananas and fold into the creamed mixture along with vanilla extract. Mix gently.
  4. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the banana batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. For the frosting, melt butter in a saucepan and cook until golden brown, stirring frequently.
  8. Whisk in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk to achieve a smooth consistency for the frosting.
  9. After cooling the brownies for 10-15 minutes, spread the brown butter frosting evenly over the top.
