Step-by-Step Instructions
- Soak your small wooden skewers in cold water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
- In a medium saucepan, combine teriyaki sauce and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir frequently as the mixture comes to a gentle boil, about 5 minutes.
- Dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of water and stir it into the saucepan. Simmer the sauce until it thickens, about 20 to 30 minutes.
- Chop the Aidell's Chicken Apple Sausage and fresh pineapple into equal-sized cubes for even cooking.
- Take your soaked skewers and thread the sausage and pineapple alternately onto each skewer for a colorful presentation.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, about 350°F (175°C), for approximately 10 minutes.
- Carefully place the assembled kabobs on the grill and grill for about 5 minutes, turning frequently to achieve desired char marks.
- Remove the kabobs from the grill and generously pour the thickened teriyaki glaze over them before serving.
