  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce use tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add 1 diced onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until translucent and slightly golden.
  3. Add 1-2 sliced bell peppers and 2-3 minced garlic cloves; cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Push veggies to the edges, add 1 pound of ground beef, and brown for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of uncooked jasmine rice, 2 cups of hot beef broth, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. Season with ground black pepper and paprika. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat, cover skillet, and cook for about 18 minutes without lifting the lid.
  7. After 18 minutes, turn off heat, fluff rice, add salt to taste, and let rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top, serve in bowls or family-style from the pan.
