  • 1 tablespoon Salt for pasta water
For the Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil high quality
  • 4-6 cloves Garlic sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes adjust to taste
  • 0.25 cup Parsley freshly chopped
For the Finish
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Thinly slice garlic and heat olive oil in a skillet. Add garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden.
  3. Sprinkle red pepper flakes into the skillet and stir for 30 seconds. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining spaghetti.
  4. Add drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss gently. Use reserved pasta water to achieve desired sauce consistency.
  5. Fold in chopped parsley and top with grated Parmesan and lemon zest. Serve warm.
