Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and chop all vegetables: bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and snap peas. Finely chop garlic. Prepare optional proteins by cutting into small pieces.
  2. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil. Heat until shimmering.
Cooking
  1. Add garlic to the hot oil, stirring for 30 seconds until golden.
  2. Add chopped vegetables starting with carrots, followed by bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas. Stir for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add protein if using (chicken or shrimp) now. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  4. Drizzle in soy sauce and stir for 1-2 minutes until sauce coats everything evenly.
  5. Transfer stir-fry to serving dishes and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
