Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by heating 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once the oil glistens, add bite-sized pieces of boneless skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken turns golden brown and is cooked through. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate to keep warm.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets, sliced bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes or until they are tender-crisp, showcasing their vibrant colors.
- While the veggies are stir-frying, take a small bowl and whisk together ¼ cup of honey, ¼ cup of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 3 tablespoons of water, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil until smooth.
- Once the vegetables are ready, return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Pour the prepared honey garlic sauce over the chicken and veggies, stirring well to combine. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Finally, serve the Honey Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry over a bed of cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
