Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Wrap each shrimp with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on the prepared wire rack.
  4. Arrange the bacon-wrapped shrimp on the rack, ensuring they are spaced out.
  5. Brush shrimp with olive oil and sprinkle the spice mix evenly over them.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until shrimp are pink and bacon is crispy. Broil for an extra 2-3 minutes if desired.
  7. Whisk together honey and lime juice in a small bowl.
  8. Drizzle the honey-lime mixture over the shrimp and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired before serving warm.
